BOLLYWOOD FEVER 2018 is proud to support the charity AKSHAYA PATRA, a not-for-profit organisation that strives to fight issues like hunger and malnutrition in India, by implementing the Mid-Day Meal Scheme in the government schools and government-aided schools.

In the UK the charity are preparing to set up our first kitchen facility to tackle holiday hunger in Britain. In so doing they will be bringing their globally celebrated world class services to the UK and they need our help!

 

Most of us do not understand what hunger really means. Unfortunately, for a lot of school children, a quality meal is still elusive. At Akshaya Patra – via their Food for Education program, they are currently changing the future for 1.6 million children by providing them with freshly cooked school meals every day.

They are now planning to scale their program to serve quality school meals in the UK via breakfast and holiday clubs. To get this initiative off the ground, two revolutionary German made combi steamers are needed urgently. Convotherm 4 represents the perfect technology for their needs by producing a wide range of flavoursome dishes that retain their freshness longer and are manufactured faster. Thousands of children can benefit from this as the Convotherm 4 makes 800-1000 meals simultaneously and can produce up to 25,000 meals a day.
